OuR Penang Trip

soooo,, people has been asking me,, where we went,, what we do && How we go around Penang during our trip there.. so here goes :)

Our first day there was sunny.. LOTs && lots of SUN.. from Bayan Lepas we took a taxi straight to our hotel.. Flamingo by The Beach~ (cute kaan name die.. haha).. left our bags there and rent a proton saga.. we call it Pajeri (the plat number was PJR **** ;p) first stop.. NASI KANDAR la bro!! haha.. went to the famous LINECLEAR.. my say: TERBAEK!! then we took a walk at jln campbell which was full of old stores,, then of to KOMTAR~~ my say: instead of going by car you could actually walk to Komtar which is about 400m from LineClear,, from Komtar we went JERUK SHOPPING (it's near Lineclear,, in front of Mydin okeh) Then we went back to the hotel,, checked -in.. rest for a while and went out again to TOY MUSEUM which was 5 minutes away from the hotel and it was very2 awesome!! afterward went to Gurney Plaza then.. makan lagi at Batu Feringhi after a looooooong walk by the beach and a fish spa =)) before we went to bed.. Laili dragged me to the famous JAMBATAN PULAU PINANG.. paid RM7 to get across the bridge just for the sake of going.. hahah.. that concludes our first day in Penang~

Second day started with breakfast bouquet at the hotel :) then we went to Penang Bird Park.. which was in Seberang Prai (meaning we had to go through the bridge again BAHA!!).. we met snowy there!! ( a very cute owl there.. huuu i missed him!! and its actually a burung hantu kubur.. angker kan for a cute bird) haaa... then we bought lunch on our way back and went back to the hotel,, returned Pajeri and changed to our BEACH attire!! haaa.. we went para-sailing and jetski!!!!!!!!!! cool rite!! it's provided at the hotel beach :) (there are also Banana-boat,, kayak,, and many more beach activities provided) at night we took kereta sapu (which was an avanza) and went souvenir shopping at the batu Feringhi night market~~

Our last day in Penang was.. hmm.. eventful.. and dramatic.. hahah.. we stayed in our hotel untill the check-out time at 1pm (we extend by 1 hour).. we had 3 hours before our flight so we called Mr Wai2 ( a tourist guide) to guide us for the 3 hours for RM80 before sending us to the airport afterward :) he was very nice and a very good tour guide.. within that 3 hours he took us for lunch at Gurney street.. went to the chocolate boutique,, Peranakan Mansion and Tokong Ular :) we nearly missed our flights though..

Because we didn't missed our flights.. now we're safely in JB again.. and missing penang..

so that's our AWESOME trip to Penang.. awesome kaaaan :)

It was 11pm.. dark..
me, Chaween && Hidayah were on our way back from KL to JB~
in Renji my Orange Proton~~

it was going smoothly at first,,
we left Sarah's house at 9pm and able to reach Simpang Remggam, Johor at 11pm..
then it happened..

I was driving.. fast..
i need to reach JB before 12 midnight
cuz my friend have to work the next day..

my friends were asleep..
i was concentrating on the road..
the radio was on,,

suddenly..
the engine died while i was driving..
so i signal to the left and stopped my car on the side of the fast highway..
i lit on the hazard light..
and i could not start the engine..
it's dead..

it was 15 minutes past 11pm..
dark..
on our right side, cars, lorries and buses drive passed us in a speed of light..
on our left side was a palm estate.. totally swarm in darkness..

my friends woke up
"where are we??"

"just past Simpang Renggam,, at Kilometer 50" i replied
looking at the KM sign in the middle of the highway..

there was a PLUS sign in front of us,,
so Chaween dialled the number and ask for help..

they arrived 20 minutes later..
the PLUS guy asked me what's wrong with the car..

i simply replied them..
"It's out of gas :"> ~~"

p/s: in my defense,, Renji's gas meter were showing 2 bars at that time and JB was just 50KM away~~ huuuuu...

Morale of the story: keep your tank at least more than half at anytime!! && don't really trust the meters! hish!!

Been wanting to go there for some time and finally went there with my 2 favorite girls :) The place was cool!! totally a great place for teenagers && young adults to hangout with friends,, food was nice and VERY unique! 1. Note in a book

When i was 12 years old,, (yup,, that was like more than 10 years ago,, Baha!!) At a public library i was reading a story book when a boy came by and sat in front of me,, it was kinda weird cuz there were lots of other empty sits that time,, later i knew why :">

You see, i went to the bathroom for a while and left my book there,, when i came back there a little note inside my book "hai,, boleh berkenalan" Pfft!! That time, i thought it was stupid and threw the note. now when i think about it,, it's kinda sweet.. haha.. 12 years old me.. Baha!!

2. Sand :)

My senior year in high school,, me and my family went for a family day at a chalet in Desaru,, (which was like a few KMs from my high school,, ek ellleeeh~~hak2). At frst it was only our family,, then the next day there was another group of peeps from a school and they had their family day at the same chalet. In that group there's one kinda good looking boy my age (gatal minah ni kecik2,, pfft~). We bump into each other sometimes but nothing happen, not even a smile.. (ceh~~ kunun2 ta berminat)

The next day,, i was at the beach and he came by,, and surprisingly said hello. I was kinda stunned and didn't know what to do,, probably blushing with my ears turning red.. (BAHA!! tipu giler!) . We had a nice chat and later he asked for my number, at first,, i didn't wanna.. and gave a kinda dumb excuse,, there's no paper to write it down. He paused and start searching for something. Then, picked up a stick and told me "it's ok,, we have sand",, i thought it was very cute plus his good looks, i gave him my number in the end and he wrote it down on the sand.. :)) well,, truth is i didn't gave my number,, it was a false number~

gosh,, sometimes i wonder what if i had given him my real number.. would he call?? would we be an old couple now?? would he be the One?? or would he be the kinda guy who asked for every random girl's number he met during the holiday?? Hahah.. i don't regret not giving my real number.. i believe in destiny.. if it's meant to be,, then we'll cross path in the future,, wow,, that'll be kinda romantic! BAHA!! imagine,, telling this story to my future grandchild in year 2030,, it's like How i Met Your Mother style only it would be 'How i Met Your Grandfather' BAHA!!!

Was supposed to get my convo-baju kurung from the tailor yesterday,,
went there in the morning @10am before i went to Wisma to renew my IC,,
and it was still closed~
nvm.. i'll just swing by after i renewed my ic..

renew my ic took about 3 HOURS!!! demmit~ lotsa kids being 12 that day (=.=!)
anyway called my lil bro to fetch me and off we went to the tailor at 3pm..
yay,, it's open ady!!

went inside and told her i'm collecting my baju kurung,,

Tailor: oh,, amek hari selasa boleh?? ta siap lagi la..

Hohoh.. had a fuN day with these peeps last saturday ,, WooHoo! seems like a million eon since i hangout with my friends~~ was very sad when i have to on-call last Malaysia Day when they go Raya around Johor without me but NVM at least i got to meet some of my friend last saturday! weeee~~~~~~~~~~

Anyway MY 'kembara sorang2 dgn gembira" started with of course,, work~ heheh.. siriusly i was working that morning~~ but able to leave early cuz not much work anyway... sow,, from work,, i shoot of to Wani Wahab house in Austin Perdana,, Damn nice to meet her again since all these years! gossips lots!! hohoh... anyway CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement dear~ will try to come to your wedding next year ;)

Afterward,, went to Jusco Tebrau City and bought tickets for Resident Evil~

hohoh.. Watched it with Ewah,, her sister TiqaH && Faiz~ that night,, met arif sem !! BAHA!! anyway before that,, met up with Lina and Is who came by to my house for raya,, Thanks for visiting you two,, we even went to Kak uL NEW HOUSE and ate delicious lemang && mee pedas! hohoh.. Thanks Kak uL for the lovely raya meals

and THIS is a special entry for her.. because,, she is MY special someone :)

It all started 5 years ago,, when i first registered as a first year student in UNIMAS.. checked into my college and was given room 427c.. The room is for 2 students and yup,, she's my roomate.. i didn't knew that time.. my first impression was "cis,, bdk ni da amek katel best,, loker besar,, ngan meje study yg ade laci" pfft!! ROFL!! it's TRUE!! she came first and snagged all the good things in the room ;p

Over time,, we became close friends and well,, i learned to live with a small locker and a small study table hohoh~ (yea,, mmg ak akan citer mende ni ulang2 kali sampai anak cucu ko pon akan hafal cite ni Amy ;pp)heheh~

We were roommates for 2 years and housemates for the whole 5 years i studied in UNIMAS,, and she was my Forever Bestfriend.. She knew me better than anyone else and knew more secrets about me.. and kept it safe.. i trust her so much and would never trade her for the world.. she's younger than me but wiser and smarter,, she's sensitive and don't like people hanging up the phone before she say goodbye ;) she loves her cats and sometimes talks to them.. (siriusly,, she even speaks with her CATS over the phone!! BAHA!!) She has a very nice voice and loves to sing,, and i love her singing (bile la nak pegi karok nie~~ hadoy~)..

I wanna keep telling you guys about this lovely girl,, but then,, u'll think i'm in love LOVE with her,, well i do love her,, but not love LOVE her.. pfft~~ the thing is yesterday was her birthday,, and i didn't get the chance to wish her.. sow here goes,,

Anyway i decided to watch

before Ramadhan starts in a couple of days that time..

went to CS alone cuz was planning to watch it alone once in a while,,

but then,, the ticket guy presumed i was with a date and sold me 2 tickets,, and i dunno why paid for both tickets~~

So then,, i have one extra ticket~~ Message some friends and got their reply~

Ewah: Stuck in a horrible jam on the way home from work~

Chaween: Already watch the movie

Arif: Oncall laaa~~~

Iz: haven't finish tds round yet~

Am: Just came back from CS...

Az: In Batu Pahat la dear~

Amy: Free2!! but in KL (==!)

in the end,, no one was able to hangout with me that night..

end up watching the movie all by myself as planned,, but cost me RM18 for a movie,, hadoy~~

Owh well,, at least the movie was kinda nice~ For me it's a 3 stars

Confusing Melaka

Seriously!! Melaka roads are confusing!!!!!!!! (sesat a lot there!!) there are too many one ways~~ huuu.. well,, at least now i'm in JB again~~ hahah..

ok~~ rewind a lil,, went to Melaka last monday and stayed there for 5 days for induction && BTN course before starting work TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! huuuuuuuuuuuu~~~~

Ok,, all the not sow good part of the trip had been told : the roads && the work owh plus the very LONG talks and packed schedule~
The good part was meeting my Coursemates again!! woohoo!! and all of us are in the same group!! haha Gosh i miss them already!! and Melaka is definitely the best place for PICTURES!!! hohoh.. Jang2!!

Anyway,, i booked the tickets early and was lucky!! got one row for us~~ hohoh.. After the movie,, went to 24 hour KFC in Skudai,, cuz my lil bro was craving for the new KFC Toasted Pocketful~ It was DELISH!!

This was taken during ophthalmology posting~~ Our lecturer wanted us to feel how a patient felt when their eyes were dilated~~ Hence,, my dilated right pupil,, cuz it seems that my left eye is dominant~ (to know which eye is dominant,, roll a piece of paper and look through the hole.. if you use your right eye than it's right dominant and vice versa).. and yes,, THESE are my eyes!! cuz it's sepet!! and slightly slanted (no,, i'm not Down's Syndrome) and on my left cheek there's a chickenpox scar~ huu (i got it while waiting for SPM result Y.Y).. anyway i hope this pic is ok with the organizer~ hee...

Malay Village

Yay!! completed my medical check up && all forms are signed and post heheh.. along with my two friends chaw2 && ejarn aka The Old Couple ;ppp (kawen je la weih!! ;p) we went to meet up our senior Dr Kakila who helped us with the process XD THANK YOU!!! xoxoxo

Afterward,, Kakila (in red),, me and kak Nisa (kakila's friend-in blue) went to Malay Village Restaurant,,

It's in Nong Chik,, i think~~ hohoh ~~still can't memorize JB roads~~ it's not our first choice cuz first we went to this place in town but it was close, then went to a hawker stall but then decided to go to singgah selalu and on the way there Kakila suggested Malay Village and so we went there.. h~~adoy,, pegi makan pon lame nak decide!~~ But NVM cuz well,, she's paying!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHA XD

I got to admit the place was beautiful~~ very relaxing,, like being in a spa,, only nobody o~~r a handsome hunk~~ is massaging me~~ heee... And the food was delicious!! (yela,, cuz it's free~~) heheh... Anyway THANKS kakila for the help && lunch~~ Gosh,, it's really have been a while since we met kaaaan~~ so was really psych about today!! muax!!

Yay to settled thingies and Yay to free food!! and all the yays goes to KAK ILA!!! YAY!!! XD

Archery!!

WooHoo!! yesterday met up with my LOP friends~ Cikgu Ewah && Cikgu Faiz heheh.. (cikgu Banat had a nasyid practice && Arif was on a date with his mom while Ejord was out of reach huuu~~)

Anyway,, me & Ewah went to CitySquare first,, window shopping!! ~~got no money,, can only watch~~.. went around inner-city then had takoyaki and fried ice-cream~~ YUM!!

Afterward,, we met up with Faiz at Danga City Mall for a game of ARCHERY!! hahah.. obviously ewah's and my first time doing this but not Faiz,, his arrows were all inside the range.. cis~~ patotla ajak main archery! hahah..

The results were Faiz: 100++ Ewah:22 and me:66 BAHA!! at least i beat Ewah :ppp but then we went for karaoke and it was LOUD!!! XD the thing is,, Ewah && Faiz are talented in singing,, me?? i SUX!! huuuu~~ sow it was like a singing competition and well,, obviously i lost~ but we had sow much fun!! hak2

went for a dinner at UDA and then i send Ewah back to her place,, (will NEVER forgot the way there again!! ~~i got sesat otw to fetch ewah~~) played with her baby nephew AHMAD for a while then went back home :)

info: Danga City Mall archery (RM20 for 60 arrows) & paintball is located at level 5 as well as their fitness centre && a spa!! hohoh.. bowling alley,, snooker && family karaoke (standard room,, RM15 per hour on weekends) are also located at level 5.. the EXPO is right next to Danga City Mall (where the chocolate fair was held before) and JOMBALI cafe (fabulous drinks and bread!!) is in Danga City Mall right next to the EXPO.. sow,, morale of this post is: GO HAVE FUN AT DANGA CITY MALL,, JB!! hohoh..

Girls Day ouT -Toast box,, movieee && books-

Sow~~~ That's Az,, my long then lost friend (fortunately found again heheh..) && my friend's girlfriend~~ get it?? anyway,, that's me in the middle (the colourful one pfft~) and on my left is Chaween (sometimes known as chaw2 or Ayu or Wan or se-em-pal) hak2 she's my course-mate, my friend && also my friend's girlfriend (yup,, i'm the only single and available in this pic,, ~~in 20 years i'll be a kooger walao!!~~)

went to Jusco Tebrau City ~~again~~ to watch KNIGHT & DAY (Tom Cruise is seriously HOT) it was sooooooo packed with action,, comedy and HOT Tom Cruise~~ woot2!! did i mention Tom Cruise is Hot.. oh,, yes.. yes i did :D

In the meanwhile we went for brunch at Toast Box on the ground floor and went shopping for my lil brother's tuut~~ BAHA!!

Then afterward went to Harris Bookstore && gosh!! i was in my own fantasy land hohoh~~ bought the last book of Percy Jackson & the Olympian series which was SUPERB!! owh, and tQ Az for your popular card ;) which apparently can be use there XD (i'm so gonna apply for a new popular card after this!!)

Az said this was the last dating day with her T.T (we do this every 2 weeks,, ~~chaween is the third wheeler~~ ;p) cuz she had something going on starting next week && i'm gonna start working soon too huuu~~ gonna miss YOU!! but no prob,, there's Facebook,, Blogspot && Twitter XD

Went to Family Karaoke DoReMi which is very,, very,, very near my house!! haha.. First time i went there with my KMNS senior & junior; abg Bad & Angah (who is also my cuz) then the second time went with my FAMILY!! and had a great time there~~ heheh..

Had sow much FUN!! haha.. && i already apply for a member card hohoh,, sow next time it's 10% off!! XD Anyone wanna sing their hearts out??? ;pp
